saidRevcon Corporation®Harmonic Filter RHFIt is a passive filter designed to reduce harmonic distortion of loads powered by 6-pulse rectifiers.This type of load is very common in drive applications.
saidRevcon RHF-A/BIt is a passive filter.It does not tune to various frequencies like an absorption circuit, but works like a band stop filter, significantly reducing all low order harmonics up to the 50th order.
For comparison, the following table shows the circuit feedback of the inverter and regeneration unit evaluated by THiD (total harmonic distortion of line current) at the nominal point of the inverter/rectifier:
